Pin an entry to an answer.

While you answer a Year in Review question, Juniper may show related journal entries, achievements, waypoints, or goals. You can pin these to include them on that answer’s scrapbook page.

  1. Open a Year in Review question in Reflect. Below the answer box, look for Juniper found · tap to pin it to this page (Juniper found · tap to pin on iPhone). This section appears only when there are matches.
  2. Tap an item to pin it. A check mark shows it’s selected. Tap it again to remove the pin.
  3. Pin up to 3 items per answer. To choose a different one when you’ve reached the limit, remove a pin first.
  4. Finish your answers and create the scrapbook. Each pinned item appears as a small label on its page. If you pin a goal with a postcard, that illustration appears too. A pinned waypoint uses its goal’s postcard.

Good to know

Finding related items does not use an AI provider, so you can pin items with AI sharing off. Making scrapbook captions does use an AI provider, and the pinned labels are included with your answers.

A pin keeps the label it had when you selected it, even if the original item changes. It stays pinned if different matches appear later, and is included when you save the scrapbook to Journal.

Pins are available for reflections that create a scrapbook. The reflections that suggest goals or achievements don’t have scrapbook pages.
