Export everything as a .zip.

You can download a copy of your YearCraft data on every plan. We email you a link to a .zip file, a single download containing your written content and files.

1. Open Settings, then Account, and find Your data. On iPhone, open Settings, then Data.
2. Tap Email me my data. If asked, verify your email address first. The button shows Preparing your export… while it’s being prepared.
3. Open the email titled “Your export is ready” and follow the download link. It works for 7 days. Settings also shows when the link expires.
4. If the link has expired, return to Settings and request a new export.

What’s included

The export contains your goals and waypoints, journal entries and recordings, achievements and their dates, reflections, postcards, and profile details.

Written content and account details are in a file called export.json. Each recording, postcard, and profile photo is included as a separate file.

If the export doesn’t finish

Settings updates automatically while the export is being prepared. If it fails or takes too long, a message below the button lets you request another.

If you plan to delete your account, download your export first. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
